Bounce Dryer Roll: Refillable Dryer Sheet Packaging Design and Brand Campaign

Bounce Packaging
Design Strategy

Keep what people recognize. Rethink what they carry. Our research led to a portable dryer sheet format for shared laundry rooms and everyday routines.

01 / A familiar starting point

Recognizable brand.
Room for a new format.

We kept Bounce’s bold logo, warm colors, and clear benefits. The opportunity was to make the packaging easier to carry and use.

02 / The market opportunity

A different way
to bring Bounce along.

The competitor review explored familiar dryer sheets, natural alternatives, and non-sheet formats. It pointed toward a compact roll that fits shared laundry routines.

Traditional sheetsFamiliar benefits and established household brands.
Natural alternativesA different ingredient and fragrance proposition.
Non-sheet formatsAlternative forms with different uses and tradeoffs.
Our design opportunityA refillable, portable dispenser with sheet dispensing and coin storage.
03 / The people and the routine

Make laundry feel
a little more manageable.

The project focused on men navigating changes in their lives. Our “D.E.R.T.” audience gave the brand strategy a human starting point.

04 / The identity we carried forward

Bold, clear, unmistakably Bounce.

The redesign builds on the original identity: recognizable branding, direct instructions, and a warm, energetic personality.

02 / Product design

A dryer roll built
for the laundry run.

A box is awkward to carry when your hands are already full. We combined a basket clip, sheet opening, and coin storage to make shared laundry trips easier.

Three changes that make laundry easier

Step 1: The basket clip keeps the sheets with your laundry, so there is one less thing to carry.
Step 2: A dedicated opening makes each sheet easy to reach without opening a bulky box.
Step 3: Coin storage keeps quarters close, while the refillable roll lets you reuse the dispenser.

Form & mechanics

A smaller form, fewer things to carry.

The waterdrop shape holds the roll and integrates the clip. User tests informed the opening width and lid, so the compact form remains practical to handle.

03 / Brand campaign

Get rollin’ anywhere.

A new format needs a clear reason to try it. We kept Bounce’s recognizable orange and connected the portable roll to everyday confidence across print, outdoor, and digital advertising.

out into the world.

Because a dryer sheet roll is unfamiliar, the campaign shows where it fits into everyday life before asking people to try it.
